Arizona State Notes:

• Making a Return: Kyle Williams had a big night returning kickoffs as the junior brought back four kicks for 116 yards, the 11th-most in a single game. Williams, who had returns of 39, 33, 27 and 17 yards, entered the game with eight returns for 173 yards with his longest return measuring 30 yards.

• Rudy: QB Rudy Carpenter finished the game with 208 yards on 23-of-36 passing and one touchdown. With his yardage, Carpenter moved past 9,000 yards for his career, bringing his total to 9,181, the second-most in school history and 12th-most in Pac-10 history.

• Tom the Toe: Thomas Weber connected on a 25-yard field goal in the second quarter to mark the 15th game in a row that he has successfully converted at least one attempt. That streak ties the school record set by Luis Zendejas (1981-82).

• Thanks for Coming: Tonight's attendance was 72,955, the 11th-largest crowd in Sun Devil Stadium history and the largest since 73,501 fans saw ASU and Notre Dame play on October 10, 1998. Tonight's crowd also marks the fourth-largest crowd for a non-conference game in ASU history.

• Hash Marks: ASU's four rushing yards in the game are the fewest recorded by the team since it was held to -2 yards rushing on November 9, 2002, a 55-38 loss at California… ASU is now 0-4 all-time against teams from the SEC… both teams combined to be whistled for 18 penalties (12 Georgia, 6 ASU) and 154 yards (104 Georgia, 50 ASU)… ASU was held scoreless in the first quarter of the game for the first time this season… the Sun Devils were shut out in the fourth quarter for third time this season.

Georgia Notes

• Georgia's Road Success Under Richt Continues: Since 2001, Georgia is now 27-4 in an opponent's stadium. Overall, the Bulldogs are now 76-19 under Mark Richt including 33-2 against non-conference teams.

• Winning Streak: With tonight's 27-10 victory, third-ranked Georgia (4-0) has won 11 straight games dating back to last season, the second longest active winning streak in the country, trailing only BYU's 14 in a row. In school history, Georgia is now 9-4-1 vs. the Pac-10.

• Quick Start: Through four games, Georgia has outscored its opponents 79-17 in the first half this year. Tonight, the Bulldogs led 21-3 at the half and eventually won 27-10.

• Bulldog Defense: In Georgia's first four games this year, the Bulldogs have surrendered just 17 points in the first half and 55 points overall. The Bulldog defense has recorded nine scoreless quarters in the first four games including two tonight. At the half tonight, it was 21-3. ASU managed just four rushing yards on 19 attempts. It was the second lowest rushing total by an opponent in the Mark Richt era. Georgia limited #10 Hawaii to minus five yards in 2008 Sugar Bowl. Last week, Georgia held South Carolina to 18 yards rushing. Bulldog sophomore WLB Rennie Curran led the team with nine tackles and one sack. ASU's 4 yards rushing was the fewest by the Sun Devils since having minus 2 against Cal on Nov. 9, 2002.

• Stafford Leads Team To Another Win: Junior QB Matthew Stafford is now 21-4 as a starter as he threw for a career-high 285 yards (16-for-28, 285 yards, 1 TD). Stafford leads the Bulldogs with 23 consecutive games started.

• Moreno Carries The Load: Sophomore Knowshon Moreno (23 carries for 149 yards and 2 TDs) notched his eighth career 100+yard game including his second this year. His 2nd quarter TD run covered nine yards and capped a 10 play, 91-yard drive that gave the Bulldogs a 7-0 lead. It was his eight TD this season. Later in the first half, he scored from three yards out for a 14-0 lead.

• Green Catching On: Freshman flanker A.J. Green enjoyed a career-night with 159 yards on eight catches with one TD. Green is the first Bulldog to have more than 100 yards receiving in a game since Kenneth Harris in 2006 against Miss. State (106). At the half, Green had 150 yards on seven catches. Green's total tally was the best by a Bulldog since Fred Gibson had 169 yards against Arkansas in 2004. Also of note, senior Mohamed Massaquoi (4 for 44 yards) now has caught a pass in 25 straight games.

• RED ZONE: Georgia is 15-for-16 Inside the Red Zone this season (12TD, 3 FG, 1 Clock). Georgia was 5-for-6 tonight (3 TDs, 2 field goals, Clock ran out at the end of the game, no points).

• Another Blocked Punt: Redshirt freshman Zach Renner blocked his first career punt; it came in the 2nd quarter and was recovered by senior Mohamed Massaquoi. It was Georgia's first one since Kelin Johnson against Kentucky last year. It was the 15th blocked punt in the Mark Richt era that began in 2001. It led to no points as Blair Walsh hit the left upright on a 55-yard field goal attempt. However on the next play, freshman Marcus Dowtin caused a fumble and recovered by Jeremy Lomax. It led to TD and a 14-0 lead.

• Starters: True freshman Ben Jones (C) and redshirt freshmen Justin Anderson (RT) and John Knox (S) made their first career starts tonight. Also, junior Vince Vance made his fourth career start but his first at left tackle.

• Injury Report: Senior DE Jeremy Lomax (neck sprain) was injured in the third quarter and did not return. Junior TE Tripp Chandler (neck sprain) left early in the fourth quarter and did not return.

• Up Next: The No. 3 Bulldogs (4-0, 1-0 SEC) return to Athens and Sanford Stadium to face No. 9 Alabama (4-0, 1-0 SEC) on Saturday, Sept 27 at 7:45 p.m. ET on ESPN. Georgia has won three straight over the Crimson Tide including a 26-23 overtime win in Tuscaloosa last season. Alabama leads the overall series 35-25-4.
