The Bulldog defense has recorded nine scoreless quarters in the first four games including two tonight. At the half tonight, it was 21-3. ASU managed just four rushing yards on 19 attempts. It was the second lowest rushing total by an opponent in the Mark Richt era. Georgia limited #10 Hawaii to minus five yards in 2008 Sugar Bowl. Last week, Georgia held South Carolina to 18 yards rushing. Bulldog sophomore WLB Rennie Curran led the team with nine tackles and one sack. ASU's 4 yards rushing was the fewest by the Sun Devils since having minus 2 against Cal on Nov. 9, 2002.
Stafford Leads Team To Another Win: Junior QB Matthew Stafford is now 21-4 as a starter as he threw for a career-high 285 yards (16-for-28, 285 yards, 1 TD). Stafford leads the Bulldogs with 23 consecutive games started.

Later in the first half, he scored from three yards out for a 14-0 lead.

Green is the first Bulldog to have more than 100 yards receiving in a game since Kenneth Harris in 2006 against Miss. State (106). At the half, Green had 150 yards on seven catches. Green's total tally was the best by a Bulldog since Fred Gibson had 169 yards against Arkansas in 2004.
