Theus surgery successful
Starting right tackle John Theus underwent successful surgery Wednesday morning at St.Mary's Hospital in Athens to repair a 5th metarshal fracture in his right foot.
Theus will miss at least a part of spring football practice due to the surgery, but a full recovery is expected, according to UGA Director of Sports Medicine Ron Courson.

The Bulldogs begin spring practice on March 2.
Theus started all 14 games for the Bulldogs last fall earning All-SEC Freshman of the Year honors.
