Taylor Undergoes Surgery
University of Georgia junior linebacker Tony Taylor of
Watkinsville underwent surgery at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens,

Georgia, on Friday morning to treat acute compartment syndrome in his
left lower leg.
The surgery relieved pressure caused by swelling in the leg. Doctors
anticipate a full recovery.
Taylor is not playing this year while recovering from a torn anterior
cruciate ligament suffered during spring drills.
