Taylor out with torn ACL

University of Georgia junior linebacker Tony Taylor of
Watkinsville will miss the 2004 season with a torn anterior cruciate
ligament in his right knee suffered in Saturday's annual spring G-Day
An MRI confirmed the injury over the weekend. He will undergo surgery
in early May.
Taylor started 12 of Georgia's 13 games in 2003 and was the team's
fifth leading tackler recording 82 total tackles, one QB sack, four
tackles-for-loss. Taylor also played in all 14 of Georgia's games as a
true freshman in 2002.
