football tabs 5 Dawgs Preseason All-SEC

The Georgia Bulldogs had five players named to the Preseason All-SEC teams released Monday. The Bulldogs have two players named to the first team and three to the second.
If it is any indication, then Georgia's offense will be special, as in teams, in 2007 as kicker Brandon Coutu and punt returning Mikey Henderson were named to the first team.
"Though a torn hamstring caused him to miss most of the 2006 season, Coutu converted 10 of 11 field-goal attempts - including two from beyond 50 yards. He also was perfect on 17 extra point attempts," writes national college football writer Olin Buchanan.
He added about Henderson: "Ranked sixth nationally in 2006 with a 14.7-yard average on 25 punt returns. He returned punts for touchdowns against Tennessee and Western Kentucky."
Defensive tackle Jeff Owens, linebacker Brandon Miller, and safety Kelin Johnson received second team honors.
