After the rocky road that was his freshman season, junior quarterback Matthew Stafford turned things around as a sophomore in 2007 to lead the Bulldogs to an 11-2 record and Sugar Bowl victory of Hawaii.
In his first two seasons, he has thrown for 4,272 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 23 interceptions.
He enters 2008 as one of the top quarterbacks in the Southeastern Conference and is on some people's preseason Heisman Trophy watch list.
In all, he has completed 54.2 percent of his passes for a quarterback rating of 73.8.
