For the first time, Peyton Woodyard visited Georgia knowing that Athens is his future home.

The No. 1 safety in the 2024 class committed to Georgia on January 7. One week later, he found himself on campus as the Bulldogs celebrated their second straight national championship.

From meetings with the coaches to recruiting fellow visitors, Woodyard found himself focusing on the future all weekend.

"It was a 'welcome home' feel with all of (the coaches)," Woodyard said. "It feels good to be a Dawg."
