Moses SEC Def. Lineman of the Week

University of Georgia junior defensive end Quentin Moses was named the Southeastern Conference's Defensive Lineman of the Week according to an announcement by the SEC office on Tuesday.
Moses (6-5, 248 pounds) was part of a Georgia defensive effort that held Mississippi State to only 254 yards in total offense in Georgia's 23-10 victory over the Bulldogs on Saturday. For the game, Moses registered two sacks (-11 yards), an additional tackle for loss (-2 yards) and one pass breakup in addition to helping the Georgia defensive line contain the Mississippi State ground attack, which was limited to only 49 yards.
For the season, Moses has 12 combined tackles, four sacks – all of which have come in the last three games – seven tackles for loss, two pass breakups, one caused fumble and two fumble recoveries. He currently leads the SEC in fumbles recovered per game (0.50) and ranks second in both sacks per game (1.00) and tackles for loss per game (1.75).
