. whe status of starting right guard Solomon Kindley remains unclear for Saturday’s game at Tennessee (3:30 p.m., CBS) after re-injuring his right ankle in last week’s win over Mississippi State

“We don't know if he'll be able to go or not," Smart said during Monday's press conference to preview Tennessee. "We'll find out a lot more today. As I said, we didn't go out and do anything yesterday, so we find out today a lot more — get to see what they can do."

Kindley suffered the injury in the third quarter of the Bulldogs’ 31-3 victory over Mississippi State. According to Smart, it’s the same ankle Kindley injured during fall camp.

He was replaced by senior Dyshon Sims, who played the rest of the game.

Kindley, who only saw brief action on the extra-point team during Georgia’s Week 1 win over Appalachian State, saw his first duty at left guard the following week at Notre Dame.

He made his first career start against Samford and opened against Mississippi State before the injury occurred.

"Certainly we have other guys capable of playing guard because we've been through this injury already once," Smart said.
