Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton met with the media for the first time this spring on Tuesday. Here are the key points from his press conference.

Stockton said he is enjoying working to build chemistry with his new teammates on offense.

Transfer receivers Noah Thomas and Zachariah Branch are "fun guys" to be around.

Stockton has been working on his footwork since the end of last season. He has also honed in on the "little things" by watching film. Stockton said he watched some of former quarterback Carson Beck's footwork on video last night.

Stockton echoed Kirby Smart by saying the run game has been a main focus for the offense this spring.

There's more of a "leadership aspect" to Stockton nowadays. Stockton feels he has gotten more vocal as a leader since the Sugar Bowl.

Stockton said he wants the team to get closer together and connect more as the rest of the spring goes on.
