Junior defensive lineman Toby Johnson underwent surgery Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital, but apparently there's no cause for alarm.
According to an email to beat writers from Bulldog sports information director Claude Felton, the junior college transfer's procedure was for a condition not related to football and a full recovery is expected in 10 days.
The school did not specify what Johnson's condition was.
A graduate of Banneker High in College Park, Johnson transferred to Georgia from Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College in June.
