Game Coverage
-- Red over White, 17-3: Stats
-- Richt encouraged by G-Day - Georgia coach Mark Richt isn't about to make any predictions about the Bulldogs' upcoming season, but based on what he saw during Saturday's annual G-Day game there's a lot to be hopeful for.
-- Notebook: Plenty of Kudos - Saturday's G-Day game didn't bring head coach Mark Richt any closer to deciding who his starting five offensive linemen would be heading into the fall. On the contrary: "We don't know who our top five is yet," Richt said. "That's going to take some time. We still hope to have as many as eight or nine that we feel comfortable with in the game. Ten would be glorious, but I don't know if we can get to that point."
-- Moore steps up on G-Day It was, after all, a scrimmage. That seemed to be the attitude of veteran Georgia Bulldog players who excelled in Saturday's G-Day game, and Mike Moore was no exception. Moore, looking to transition from backup to key contributor, came through with a most notable performance. However, the rising junior from Fort Lauderdale remained low-key afterward, even though he had just scored the only two touchdowns of the day.
-- D-Ends spending time in the backfield - Jarius Wynn was stumped. He didn't know what to say. When asked to offer his opinion on which defensive ends made the biggest impression on him during Saturday's G-Day game, the senior from Lincolnton was at a complete loss.
-- King Delivers - All eyes were on running back Caleb King when he took the field for the Black team's first possession of Saturday's annual G-Day game at Sanford Stadium. It had been almost two years - the sixth game of his senior season at Greater Atlanta Christian to be exact – since the redshirt freshman last played in front a crowd of eager fans. King put on a show.

Previews
-- Georgia gearing up for big spring game - The latest news out of Athens on this Saturday's G-Day game in Sanford Stadium, a game that UGA officials are expecting to be one of the most attended and well covered in the school's history.
-- G-Day 1984: Varsity vs. History - Since 1943, the G-Day game has been one of spring's annual rites in Athens. While it rarely influences the pecking order for the team that will hit the field come fall, for some it represents a rare opportunity to play "between the hedges." And, on an occasion or two, former Bulldogs have been able to return to the scene of their college glory and suit up one more time.
-- The End of the Alumni G-Day Game - Forgive Preston Jones if he doesn't exude warm and fuzzy thoughts when the topic of alumni games comes up. It was 1989 when Georgia officials revived a concept from five years earlier and fielded an alumni squad to challenge the varsity on G-Day. Jones was a redshirt freshman looking to make his mark on a program that was transitioning from legendary Coach Vince Dooley's watch to that of new coach Ray Goff.
-- Big Questions for G-Day - With expectations at an arguably unprecedented high, interest in Georgia's annual G-Day game has never been greater. Despite a weather forecast which calls for possibly severe thundershowers, today's showcase at Sanford Stadium is expected to draw upwards of 30,000 fans, all anxious to catch a glimpse of the team some are calling for to contend for the national championship next fall.
