Ellerbe to be suspended for three games

ATHENS------- University of Georgia redshirt sophomore linebacker Dannell Ellerbe will be suspended for the first three games of the 2006 season as a result of an auto accident and subsequent alcohol-related charges last January according to UGA head coach Mark Richt.
"Dannell made a serious mistake that is not taken lightly," said Richt. "He will pay a significant price and I¹m confident he has

The charges against Ellerbe have been heard and resolved by both the UGA Student Judiciary and the Athens-Clarke County authorities.
