Drew suffers injury

Freshman outside linebacker Ray Drew suffered a right shoulder sprain when he fell off his scooter Sunday on the way back from church.
In a statement to reporters, Georgia officials said that the Thomasville native was evaluated and treated at St. Mary's hospital here in Athens.

According to team trainer Ron Courson, Drew is listed as "day to day."
A former five-star performer from Thomas County Central, Drew has been pushing for playing time behind starting Sam linebacker Cornelius Washington.
It's the second scooter-related accident for the Georgia football team in the past month following an incident last month involving defensive end Derrick Lott.
Lott was leaving the parking area when he ran into a service truck, suffering a severe cut on his leg. Lott return to drills last week.
