Off-season surgeries were performed on seven University

of Georgia football student-athletes Thursday according to UGA Director

of Sports Medicine Ron Courson.

All seven had been pre-scheduled for early January following the final

football game.

Those undergoing surgery include SE A.J. Bryant, sophomore, Ft. Valley (left shoulder); DT Marquis Elmore, junior, Folkston (right wrist); FLK Demiko Goodman, redshirt freshman, Newnan (left shoulder); DE Jeremy Lomax, redshirt freshman, Jonesboro (left shoulder); OG Zeb McKinzey, sophomore, Lilburn (left shoulder); LB Brandon Miller, sophomore, Colquitt (right hand); and FB Brannan Southerland, redshirt freshman, Dacula (left shoulder).

All seven are expected to have full recovery by the fall. McKenzie and Miller will be the only two expected to participate in spring practice.
