Chris Ellis Update
Marietta High School star Chris Ellis is one of the Peach state’s top prospects. The 6-foot-8 ½, 250-pound power forward has scholarship offers from a host of top programs.
Ellis averaged 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 blocks during his junior campaign helping Marietta High School to a 28-4 record.

“I’m wide open right now,” said Ellis, who lists Wake Forest, Notre Dame, Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Clemson, Boston College, Ohio State, Stanford, Indiana, and Wisconsin as teams in consideration.
Although Ellis declines to name a leader, Georgia appears to have the advantage over Alabama and Wake Forest early in the recruiting process. “Georgia is a good school. I really like the atmosphere,” he said. “My cousin plays there (Ezra Williams) and it feels like family there.”
Ellis has scholarship offers from Notre Dame, Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, Wake Forest and Wisconsin. Ellis is a solid student and scored a 960 on his first SAT attempt.
