The good: He has adequate quickness on the snap and plays with good leverage that helps him gain penetration into the backfield. He has a big, powerful frame and base to anchor on the inside with the short area quickness to make plays along the line of scrimmage. He has some upside if he continues to develop his technique.
The bad: He is a marginal athlete. He can be slow in his initial reads, which leaves him out of position often and easy to block. He needs to use his hands better, especially early on the down, to keep blockers off his big frame. Hayden also needs to show better use of his fine functional strength to anchor and push the pocket.
