*Not A Lot Of Points In 1st Half: Georgia and Nebraska were scoreless after the first quarter, the first time that's happened in a Bulldog bowl game since the 2009 Independence Bowl against Texas A&M. Georgia went on to post a 44-20 win. Today, the Bulldogs trailed 10-9 after the first half. It marked the first time Georgia hasn't scored a TD in a game since the 2012 South Carolina game in Columbia. The last time Georgia didn't score a TD in a bowl game was the 2010 Liberty against #24 Central Florida. It was 3-3 at the half, and the Golden Knights won 10-6 that day. Today, NU had a 10-9 lead at the half.

*Busy First Half For Lynch: By the end of the first half, senior tight end Arthur Lynch already had a career high with five catches. They covered 58 yards.

*Tough Yards For Gurley: Sophomore TB Todd Gurley was limited to 35 yards on 11 carries in the first half plus he had two catches for 31 yards.

*Turnover Margin: Georgia fumbled while fielding a punt (Reggie Davis) at its own 14, and it led to a Cornhusker TD and a 7-3 lead with 9:05 left in the first half. The Bulldogs are now minus-7 in turnover margin.

*Morgan Accounts For All 9 Points: Sophomore Marshall Morgan booted a 38-yard field goal to give Georgia a 3-0 lead at the 10:37 mark of the 2nd quarter. He added a 28-yarder to close the gap to 7-6 with 6:53 left in the first half. Morgan's 3rd FG came on the final play of the first half, a 38-yarder to make it 10-9. Georgia's bowl record for most field goals is four set at the 1995 Peach Bowl and 2003 Sugar Bowl. *Leading Tacklers: Freshman SS Quincy Mauger led the team with six tackles. The SEC's leading tackler, junior LB Ramik Wilson had four tackles.

*Captains: Georgia's bowl game captains were seniors Arthur Lynch (TE), Garrison Smith (DE) and Connor Norman (FS).
