Former Dawg Scott Adams passes

Former University of Georgia offensive lineman Scott Adams died Monday, September 16, in Oconee County.

Born September 28, 1966, in Lake City, Florida, he was a four-year letterman for the Bulldogs (1985-88) and earned All-SEC second team and APAll-America Honorable Mention honors in 1988. In 1987 he was part of an offensive line unit that paved the way for the fifth best rushing total in school history.

Adams played seven seasons in the NFL with five different teams:Vikings, Saints, Bears, Buccaneers, and Falcons. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
