COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State's offensive line has been in the crosshairs of criticism more than any other unit for the Buckeyes during the past several seasons. Going into 2010 however the line may be considered a strength rather than a liability with the amount of experience that Jim Bollman's crew will line up with.
Guard Bryant Browning has seen it all, starting his career on the outside of the line before moving inside during his second season. Browning will assume the role of a captain for his final season and knows a thing or two about the wars in the trenches.
We caught up with Browning on Monday afternoon in preparation for the season opener against Marshall and asked Browning about how this line stacks up against other lines he has been a part of. Plus the identity of this offense will be focused around quarterback Terrelle Pryor, how does Browning feel that Pryor has grown as a player and a leader since they started playing together several seasons ago.
And of course with the Buckeyes opening up the campaign as the No. 2 team in the nation there are always distractions of people telling you just how good you are. How does the team block that out and focus on the task at hand, namely beating Marshall this week? We touch base on all of these topics and more in our one-on-one sit down with Browning.
