Ranking the Big 12: Offensive line

Offensive line is another position in the Big 12 right now where a lot of big name faces from 2009 have moved onto the NFL. There really isn't a consensus No. 1 player right now in the Big 12 when you look at the lineman across the league. Nebraska offensive lineman Keith Williams will lead the Huskers line and he cracked our list of top linemen in the Big 12 heading to 2010.

Other Rankings: QB l RB l WR l TE l

.
1. Nate Solder, Colorado, 6-9, 300, Sr.
Colorado senior Nate Solder is considered by many the top returning lineman in the Big 12 heading into the 2010 season. Solder has played in every game since his freshman season at CU and he continues to develop and shape his big 6-foot-9 frame. Solder's current body fat according to the CU official website is at just 8 percent and he's been clocked at 4.8 seconds in the 40 yard dash.
2. Kyle Hix, Texas, 6-7 , 320, Sr.
Texas offensive lineman Kyle Hix will be a fourth-year player who has played in 40 games, starting the last 28 at right tackle. Hix has started every game since moving into the line-up prior to the 2007 Holiday Bowl against Arizona State.
3. Tim Barnes, Missouri, 6-4, 310, Sr.
Missouri offensive lineman Tim Barnes is one of the top centers in the nation who returns for his third and final year as a starter. Barnes will lead an offensive line which is being looked to be a strong point for the Tigers. An amazing stat on Barnes is he is just the third center ever to start for Gary Pinkel at Missouri in his coaching tenure. The consistency they've had at this position is pretty amazing.
4. Stephen Good, Oklahoma, 6-6, 291, Jr.
Oklahoma's Stephen Good is a versatile guard who played in all 13 games while starting seven on either the left or right side. He played a total of 718 snaps as a sophomore and he was second in pancake blocks (79) only to All-American Trent Williams. Good is arguably the best returning guard in the Big 12 heading into 2010.
5. Keith Williams, Nebraska, 6-5, 310, Sr.
Senior Nebraska offensive lineman Keith Williams has played in 34 games and started a total of 19 over the last three years for the Huskers. Look for Williams to anchor NU's interior line in 2010. Over the off-season, Williams has reshaped his body and dropped some bad weight, which should really help his overall performance in his final season at NU.
