Bruin football team back to work

First practice back after a loss and the team looked determined to become better. There was focus and energy. It was good to see Kevin Prince getting reps and throwing the football around. There was a little rust, but nothing that won't be overcome with reps. He still hasn't been cleared for the game on Saturday, but most think that will come after the doctors see x-rays today (Wednesday October 7th).

Rahim Moore was also back though wearing the red non-contact jersey, but the always gregarious Moore told the media while he was holding court that he told the team go ahead and think that this jersey is a throwback New England Patriot jersey. He's hungry to hit.

Rick Neuheisel met with the press after Tuesday's practice.

Neuheisel: "I'm pleased with the effort. This is the first time we have come to practice after being unsuccessful and I just love the way we rallied and fought and scratched. Now we have to polish. There's a lot of cleaning up to do to be a better football team on Saturday, but I liked the effort and now it is up to the coaches to get a plan that we can execute and play are best football game, because it's going to be an exciting game and one that will require our best effort."
