Compliance, Big East cleaning up qualifying

Lost amid the concern for West Virginia's recruiting class's three "missing" players is the fact that head coach Bill Stewart is batting a pretty good average when it comes to getting kids qualified to be eligible to play football.

Last week, it was revealed that wide receiver Deon Long was awaiting a test grade; defensive end Curtis Feigt was awaiting a student visa and defensive end Tevita Finau was awaiting final grades to be posted. This prevented these three members from reporting about a week ago when the balance of the 24-man class of 2009 arrived.
