Trimble talks about Bulldogs offer

Gadsden, Ala., cornerback Dale Trimble took full advantage of playing opposite five-star Alabama signee Dre Kirkpatrick last season.

The two corners tied for the team lead for interceptions in 2008 with each picking off six passes. Naturally, Trimble is considered one of the Southeast's top defensive backs in the class of 2010.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Trimble currently has offers from Mississippi State, Auburn, Clemson, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Tennessee.

"I really wasn't expecting all this attention," Trimble said. "But I've been playing right across from Dre. I've been looking forward to the attention."

Out of the six offers, Trimble stated that he is going to give each school an opportunity.

"I don't have any favorites right now," Trimble said. "It's just anybody who offers me, I'm interested."

Trimble has been in close contact with Mississippi State defensive coordinator Carl Torbush, who just happens to be his recruiting coach as well.
