Dawgs add team to 2010 schedule

One team down, one more team to find for 2010.

According to the Atlanta-Constitution, the Georgia Bulldogs will play Louisiana-Lafayette next year, either in the season-opener, or later in the year to accommodate another team.

Georgia associate athletics director Arthur Johnson confirmed the game.

A member of the Sunbelt Conference, Louisiana-Lafayette finished 6-6 last year. Included were losses of 51-21 to Southern Miss and 20-17 to Illinois.

This fall, the Rajun Cajuns travel to LSU and Nebraska while hosting Kansas State.

Georgia remains in negotiations to bring a second team to Athens.
