Aggies begin last week of spring drills
Even though the Maroon & White game is behind Texas A&M, the Aggies hit the practice fields once again Tuesday and will again Thursday before wrapping up spring drills. A&M was able to review the Maroon & White game over the past few days, and Tuesday went to work to fix some of the problems that arose during the game.
A&M head coach Mike Sherman was pleased with what he saw Tuesday, and never really thought the Aggies would suffer from a letdown with practices following the usual end of spring practices with the Maroon & White game.
"We were able to No. 1 watch the whole tape of the game which was over 100 plays on Monday in our film review, and then this morning and this afternoon we were able to get back to basics and fix the things that needed to get fixed," Sherman said. "I was very pleased with the response of the guys after the spring game. They understood going into it that they had a couple of days left. It wasn't like we were going to shut it down. They came ready to practice today."
Sherman saw a lot of things Saturday that he liked in the spring game, and those things carried over to Tuesday's practice as well.
