Getting to know signee Jarrod Darden
Jarrod Darden will be a welcome addition to the Buffaloes' roster this summer. The 6-foot-5, 210-pounder from Keller (Texas) Central will become the tallest receiver on the team. Darden showed big time potential during a junior season in which he hauled in 46 passes for 739 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was named to Rivals.com's Texas Top 100 list. But Darden missed his entire senior season after suffering a fractured fibula and a torn ankle tendon in the preseason. "I am about 85 percent recovered from the injury," he said Monday night. "My recovery is coming along pretty well. I am lifting weights and running." We caught up with Darden and asked him a variety of questions as part of our series of signee Q&A's. Read on.
