Sooners Offer North Carolina Two-Way Star

A few weeks after hosting it's 2010 junior day and just days after the class of 2009's National Signing Day Oklahoma's coaches have quickly turned their attention to extending offers to not only some of the Big 12 region's best players but some of the nation's top prospects.

According to the Sooners, that list would apparently include Greensboro (N.C.) Northern Guilford athlete Keenan Allen. The 6-foot-2, 182-pound prospect has already picked up offers from Alabama, California, Clemson, N.C. State, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, Wake Forest, and West Virginia among others.

However, he admitted that the Oklahoma offer piqued his interest compared to some others.

"(The offer) was the first thing I heard from them, it was very exciting," Allen said. "When I got the letter I wasn't expecting it to be an offer. I wasn't expecting it to be an offer from a BCS school.

"Some schools stick out from the rest, and Oklahoma is definitely one of those."
