40 to watch in 2011

Fayetteville wide receiver Demetrius Dean, 6-2, 225, 4.7, has committed to Arkansas and is among the top players in the state's Class of 2011.

As a sophomore, Dean caught 67 passes for 985 yards and 13 touchdowns. As good as Dean is though, he's not the only great talent in this class. Fayetteville quarterback Brandon Allen, 6-2, 190, 4.8, completed 249-of-432 passes for 3,270 yards and 30 touchdowns. Allen is the son of UA assistant Bobby Allen.

A pair of talented running backs are Newport's Artez Brown, 6-1, 175, 4.5, and Clarksville's Wesleigh Foster, 6-1, 185, 4.5. Brown rushed for 1,111 yards and 8 touchdowns on 96 carries this past season. Foster rushed for 501 yards and 5 touchdowns on 60 carries while also catching 50 passes for 816 yards and 9 touchdowns.
