Hamilton heading to Mississippi State

Taylorsville, Miss., two-star prospect Billy Hamilton had two major reasons to sign with Mississippi State.

Not only will the 6-foot-1, 165-pounder suit up at wide receiver for the Bulldogs but he will also be roaming the baseball diamond for MSU and head coach John Cohen.

Hamilton made things official Wednesday when he signed his national letter of intent to play for the Bulldogs.

"It is the SEC and it is just better competition and I like the SEC better," Hamilton said. "I am really going for the baseball though and they have better baseball, so that is why I chose Mississippi State."
