Loften Picks up Second Offer

While the list of new offers during Oklahoma's junior day was rather short in relation to the number of top level football prospects who were in Norman there were a few players the Sooner coaches had seen enough of to know exactly what their opinion was. One such player was Irving (Texas) Nimitz safety Eddrick Loften.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound defensive back says that quickly after arriving defensive coordinator Brent Venables made Oklahoma's intentions clear.

"It went pretty good, we toured the school a little bit and I talked to a lot of coaches and went to the basketball game," Loften recalled. "I just liked the facilities and the community, it was all pretty nice."
