Lewis raves about official visit to A&M
This past weekend, Texas A&M played host to over 20 official visitors for their end of the year banquet. Most of the current commitments were in town as well as a couple of highly-ranked undecided prospects.
One of the players who made the trip to College Station was four-star offensive lineman Patrick Lewis out of Reserve (LA) East St. John. The Aggie commit said that the weekend could not have gone any better. Though school was out for the semester, there were still quite a few students around to make the recruits feel welcome.
"The weekend, it was excellent," said the 6-foot-2, 293-pound Lewis. "It went real well. On a scale of one to 10, I'd give it a 10 for sure.
"We went out to Northgate. I love it up there. The fans, they saw our tags and they were like, 'Oh, you're coming to A&M? That's awesome and you'll get a chance to play early and this and that.' They were telling everybody that. They just showed all the recruits a good time."
Hosted by fellow offensive lineman LeRoy Chevalier, Lewis said he had a chance to truly get to know a lot of other future teammates, especially the younger ones.
