Bellamy talks state title and future

The lone Ohio State commitment to win a state title in the state of Ohio was Adam Bellamy. Bellamy led the Aurora Greenmen to the division III championship when they beat Columbus Eastmoor. In the game Bellamy played a starring role, and now he is looking forward to his time at Ohio State.

There is no greater accomplishment for a high school team than winning a state championship. Before the season every team sets that goal, and when the dust cleared Bellamy and company were the only division III team in Ohio to accomplish that.

"It was just such a reward for all the hard work we put in year round," said Bellamy about coming home with the championship. "We just kept doing what we were taught to do, and before we knew it we were watching those final seconds tick off, and we didn't know who to do with ourselves."
