McCoy trails Harrell in OB Heisman Tracking poll

With a little more than three weeks to go before the announcement of this year's Heisman Trophy, this weekend's match-up between Texas Tech and Oklahoma looms almost larger than life.

In this week's Debut of the Orangebloods.com Heisman Tracking Poll, we find that Red Raiders quarterback Graham Harrell is the runaway leader at this point, but the entire direction of the race will change on a dime if the Sooners win at home.

"Harrell's my guy right now, but he won't be if Oklahoma wins," one voter told Orangebloods this week. "He's there because Tech is undefeated and in line to play for a national championship. I couldn't tell you what will happen on Sunday with my leaning if they lose, but he's the easy guy to choose right now."

In fact, Harrell is the easy choice for pretty much everyone across the country at the moment.

In our polling of 38 voters, Harrell collected 34 first-place votes to lead all players with 103 points.

At the moment, Texas quarterback Colt McCoy is in second place with 53 points, while Oklahoma's Sam Bradford is third with 28 points, Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree is fourth with 18 points and Florida's Tim Tebow rounds out the top five with 17 points.

Here's a look at the results from our poll. Like the actual Heisman scoring system, all ballots had three names on them and we scored on a 3-2-1 scoring system.
