Bowden wants suspensions to be over (By Gene Williams, Warchant.com)



Last Friday, after practices for the week had already been concluded, head coach Bobby Bowden issued a statement issued through Florida State's Sports Information Office that Taiwan Easterling, Bert Reed, Corey Surrency, Cameron Wade and Richard Goodman were suspended for the Boston College game. The five wide receivers were allegedly involved in a fight that occurred with members of the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity last Wednesday.



After Monday's practice, Bowden indicated that all five players that were suspended for last Saturday had returned to practice. The 79-year old coach also made it perfectly clear where he stands on whether or not the suspended players would be suiting up this Saturday for Maryland.



"If it was up to me, yes," Bowden told Warchant.com. "I'm not waiting on anything. Let's talk about something else."
