Video: Hoyer and Swenson on their roles in comeback

EAST LANSING - Michigan State quarterback Brian Hoyer had his second straight week of strong play under center.

Hoyer completed 19 of his 44 pass attempts for 252 yards. The Spartan senior put up those numbers despite eight drops from a depleted receiving corps. Leading receiver Mark Dell did not play for the Spartans one week after catching a number of critical passes from Hoyer against Michigan.

Hoyer was the rock for Michigan State in the fourth quarter. He connected with Blair White and Charlie Gantt to set up Brett Swenson's 44-yard game-winning field goal.

Swenson was 4-for-4 on field goal attempts against Wisconsin. Swenson kicked field goals of 27, 21, 50, and 44 yards against Wisconsin.
