Lewis still likes Oregon

The Oregon Ducks have been successful in recruiting in Texas the past couple of years. One of this year's targets is defensive back, Kerry Lewis of Lancaster High in Lancaster. Lewis (5'9, 178, 4.5) is one of a number of Duck targets at cornerback. Duck Sports Authority caught up with Lewis earlier this week to see how his recruitment is going and where the Ducks stand.

From what Lewis told us, things seem to be in flux right at the moment. "I don't have a top five," Kerry said. "Some schools are recruiting me harder than others though. Some of the schools I like are Oregon, Minnesota, Kansas, Kansas State, Arizona, Tulsa, and Fresno State."

It's no coincidence that the Ducks lead that list. "I love the program" Lewis told us. "It's in a big conference. It's a winning program. I have talked to a few local coaches that went there. I have seen pictures of their facilities and they are nice. Of course I love the Oregon uniforms. Every game it's a surprise what they are going to wear. It's a real plus."
