It was a clean sweep of the SEC's two most prestigious weekly awards Monday as Georgia's Knowshon Moreno and Darryl Gamble were named the conference's Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.
It was the third-such honor for Moreno this year and second in as many weeks.
In Georgia's 52-38 win over LSU, Moreno registered his third-highest rushing total of the season after running for 163 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries to lead the Bulldogs to their victory.
Moreno had the second-longest run of his career after scampering 68 yards for a touchdown late in the third quarter and also had a 47-yard run in the game.
He now ranks eighth on the Georgia career rushing yardage list with 2,259 yards.
Gamble's selection was practically a no-brainer after he returned a pair of interceptions for touchdowns in the Bulldogs' victory. His two picks for scores, which tied an NCAA record for linebackers, gave him 93 return yards in the game.
His first interception came on the game's first play when he brought back the pick 40 yards for a score, before icing the game with a 53-yard interception return late in the fourth quarter.
