Bruins to hit the road
The Bruins bounced back from yesterday's not up to snuff, practice with a solid effort on Thursday. This young team will be traveling to Berkeley in hopes of getting out of there with their first road victory of the season. The Bruins, no doubt will meet a growling and angry bunch of Bears due to their loss to Arizona last week.
Once again the Bruins will be facing a team that has an almost must win scenario. Yet, UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel was his usual relentlessly positive self after Thursday's practice.
Neuheisel: "I thought it was a great Thursday practice. It was just what we needed. There was a lot of spirited competition and the kids are anxious to go up to the Bay Area to see if we can't find a way to win a game. I know it is a tough challenge, but if it were easy everybody would do it. We are looking forward to this contest and I know they are too. It should be a whale of a Saturday."
Have you guys almost gotten used to the shifting and moving the offensive line around?
Neuheisel: "Yeah, it seems, seamless now, in that we have had so many changes and mix and matching that the kids kind of roll with it and aren't too concerned. Obviously it impacts your productivity and your efficiency because you are just better off when everybody is doing the same thing over and over again, but that hasn't been possible so we will make the best of it."
