The Drive that defied history

Florida State has seen this scenario several times before.

Whether it was one of many late game meltdowns to Miami or the inability to mount a winning touchdown drive against Wake Forest late in the game, the Seminoles have had a knack of not coming through in the clutch.

After a first half that saw Florida State dominate Miami in every facet of the game and build a commanding 24-3 lead, the contest appeared to be over. But starting with the three points the 'Canes scored at the end of the first half and after 19 third quarter points it quickly became obvious that FSU would not be able to coast to an easy victory.
