Linton ready for senior season
Dexter Linton had an extremely successful junior campaign. The 6-foot-0, 185-pound safety from Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas, tallied 103 total tackles, picked off two passes and had 11 pass breakups. Linton and his teammates also made a deep run in the playoffs, but came up short in advancing to the state championship game. As the No. 48 ranked player in the state continues to prepare for his senior season, Linton spoke to Jayhawk Slant about his expectations for the upcoming season.
Linton, the No. 24 ranked safety in the class of 2009, is as focused as he's ever been while playing high school football. For the three-star prospect, along with his teammates, the expectations couldn't be any higher.
