One of the best in 2010 visits Athens

With the Dawgs at least halfway done with the 2009 class, they can start looking ahead to 2010. Like always, they will recruit their home state extremely hard and it will again be deep and very talented. One of the best juniors out of the Peach State visited Athens and he really liked what he saw.

"I went up to Georgia recently for a visit and I really liked it up there," said Markeith Ambles. "I got to watch practice, sit in on the receiver meetings, talk to the some coaches, talk to some of the players, tour the campus, and see the dorms. I really liked everything up there."

After spending some time in the meeting room with the current Georgia receivers, the 6-foot-1, 184 pound playmaker talked it up with the Dawgs.

"I talked to A.J. Green, Mohamed Massaquoi, Kris Durham, Tavarres King, and Mike Moore while I was there. I talked to a couple other players like Bacarri Rambo and Reshad Jones, but I mainly talked to the receivers."

"We just talked about different things, but they told me some things about Georgia. They were all real cool guys and they all were good too."

During practice, he watched the Bulldog receiving core and he took in as much as possible.

"I learned some things during practice for sure," the McDonough (Ga.) receiver admitted. "They had a good day at practice and I was watching everything. The receivers coach (John Eason) was a good coach and I was listening to him."
