Decision time for Cotton

Throughout the recruiting process, Jordan Cotton has wanted to get his college decision out of the way before his senior season began. With two-a-days starting for Mount Pleasant next week, the three-star prospects plans to do exactly that as he is set to announce his destination shortly.

Cotton will make his choice public on Wednesday night this week. In early July, he narrowed his list of scholarship offers down to two schools, Iowa and Kansas, eliminating Wisconsin, Colorado, and Iowa State.

As a junior, Cotton played running back for Mount Pleasant, rushing for 1,449 yards and 17 touchdowns in leading his team to a 6-3 record. Both Iowa and Kansas project the all-state performer as a wide receiver in college.
