Iowa athlete set to visit Kansas

Jordan Cotton is beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Having stepped foot on Iowa's campus countless times, the 6-foot-1, 170-pound athlete from Mt Pleasant (IA) Community High School will make his way to Kansas on Friday. Cotton, along with quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase, will visit KU's campus over the weekend or early next week. Cotton spoke to Jayhawk Slant about his upcoming visits and his thoughts on the Kansas program.

Cotton, the No. 43 ranked athlete in the class of 2009, has scholarship offers from Kansas, Iowa, Wisconsin, Iowa State and Colorado. Nebraska, Notre Dame, Purdue and Illinois have also expressed an interest in the three-star prospect.
