Four-star WR narrows list

Four-star wide receiver Jemari Roberts (6-3, 205, 4.5) from Long Beach (Calif.) Wilson Prep is the complete package as a football player. He has the size D-I schools like in a modern wide receiver, good speed and better yet, the grades to get in any college in the nation.

Roberts has offers on the table form Arizona, Cal, Oregon, Stanford, Washington, Washington State and Colorado.

As a junior, Roberts hauled in 15 receptions for 183 yards and two touchdowns. He was downright lethal as a kick returner, racking up 588 return yards, on 18 attempts, for an average of 32.7 yards per kick while returning three kicks to the house. He also returned two punts for 44 yards.

Roberts was good enough to earn second-team all-league in one of the toughest league's in the CIF Southern Section.

"I've narrowed down my list to Oregon, USC, Cal, Notre Dame and Stanford," Roberts said. "I will probably wait until I narrow down my list even more before I make my college decision. If I'm not completely sure about where I want to go, then I will probably take some official visits."
