Porter excited to play in College Station

When Sean Porter committed in May, his name was unfamiliar to most Texas A&M fans. The linebacker from Schertz Clemens had not been on the A&M radar for long as he pulled the trigger on a commitment the day he received the offer.

However, this weekend the 6-foot-2, 205-pound defender hopes to make a big first impression on Aggie fans as he and his teammates take part in the annual Texas 7-on-7 State Championship Tournament. It is held in College Station at the campus that Porter will one day call home.

"Oh yeah, actually I am," said Porter about being excited to play on the A&M campus. "It will be my first time to play there and the first time in front of all my coaches where they'll get to see me in person playing. I'm pretty excited about it."
