Anticipation is building for Jackson

Toby Jackson is looking online, making phone calls, and looking in the mail box daily hoping to find out that he is moving to Athens in the coming weeks. The anticipation is building daily as Jackson waits to find out where he will be next.

"I was surprised when my ACT score got red flagged by Clearinghouse, but I am dealing with it the best I can," said Jackson. "After I made a 17 the first time, I made a 22 the second time, and they flagged that score. I just took it again about a week and a half ago, so I hope to hear something soon."

Jackson is getting a little antsy while waiting for his score to return. He wants to know how he did as soon as the scores become available.

"I called them (NCAA Clearinghouse) on Monday asking if they had mailed the scores back yet, but they really did not give me a good answer. They told me that they were going to get them out as soon as they could."

He is hoping to hear something within the next week to ten days if not sooner. The 6-foot-4, 255-pound defensive end wants to be in Athens right now, but since he can't be there, he is working out in Griffin.

The Georgia signee has been training hard while focusing on what the Georgia coaches have talked to him about.

"I have talked to Coach [Mark] Richt, Coach [Rodney] Garner, and Coach [Jon] Fabris about different things, but they all tell me that staying in good condition is the most important thing," Jackson stated.
