Is A&M after Austin Moss?

The position with the biggest question mark for Texas A&M in the class of 2009 is easily that of middle linebacker. While the Aggies look to be in good standing with a few outside prospects, that does not seem to be the case with the inside.

However, one prospect that they may become a serious player with is Rockwall Heath's Austin Moss. The 6-foot-2, 209-pound four-star defender has already had plenty of success in recruiting as he is in the double-digits for offers. He thinks that he could soon add an in-state one to his total.

Last Saturday at the 7-on-7 tournament in Plano, his team experienced success as they won against one of the most talented fields of competition.

"It was really great to win it all," Moss said. "I knew the schools and have seen how they've done in the past and how good they've been. It's still kind of hard to believe how well we did."

The good news didn't end there as he received a phone call on the ride home from Texas A&M cornerback coach Charles McMillian, who is recruiting him for the Aggies.
