Lewis wants to be a Duck

The Oregon Ducks have been looking again to the great high school football state of Texas. The Ducks are recruiting safety, Kerry Lewis, (5'-10", 180, 4.49 hand-timed, vertical, 35.2") from 4A Lancaster high school in Lancaster Texas. Duck Sports Authority caught up with Kerry recently for an interview.

"Coach Neal from Oregon came to see me on May 4th. He didn't offer me a scholarship yet. He said they were going to take back his findings and evaluate me more. If they offer me I will go there," Kerry said emphatically. "I like the school, I like the fans, and I like the Pac-10. It's one of my favorite conferences. I talked to Coach Neal, and he said he liked the way I played. He took film of me, and said I was aggressive. He sent me some hand written letters," Kerry commented.
