Holliday, coaching staff lead Weingart to WVU

Many factors played into Jordan Weingart's decision to verbally commit to playing football at West Virginia University on Thursday. Perhaps the most important factor, however, was WVU associate head coach Doc Holliday. Having recruiting the 6-foot-3, 290-pound guard while coaching at Florida, Holliday persuaded the Gainesville native to follow him to Morgantown.

"Coach Holliday is a great friend of my family. He and my parents are close, and I played high school football with one of his sons for a season," Weingart said. "When I finally get to Morgantown, I know that my transition will be made easier by Coach Holliday and his family."
